The Kawenata Awards is a prestigious event that recognises contribution and achievement across all sectors of Te Nehenehenui.
This year’s fifth awards ceremony will be held at the Waitomo Homestead Restaurant and livestreamed across our online platforms.
– Paraire, 1 o Tīhema 2023 (Friday 1st December 2023)
– Waitomo Homestead, 584 State Highway 3 via Hangatiki to Ōtorohanga
– Doors open 5:30pm
– Awards ceremony begins at 6.00pm until 9:30pm
Attire: Black suit & Neck-tie for men and formal floor length dresses for women). We invite our whānau to adorn your finest kakahu, korowai, piupiu, taonga, patu, taiaha or your nanny’s pakihi.
Tickets are available to purchase from 5pm, Paraire, 3 o Noema (Friday 3rd November) 2023.
Please note, nibbles are provided per ticket. This is an alcohol-free event. A cash bar is available to purchase non-alcoholic beverages of your choice.
