Te Rōpū Rangatahi is calling for new members aged 18–35 — to bring your aspirations, your vision, and your whakaaro to the future of our iwi.
Te Rōpū Rangatahi is a reference group to Te Nehenehenui that advocate for and represents the rangatahi of Maniapoto. Their mission: to empower rangatahi to activate their Maniapototanga.
Their role includes co-designing the annual Rangatahi Wānanga, participating in iwi-wide hui, and providing rangatahi-led advice and insights to Te Nehenehenui Board and operational leadership.

What are we looking for?
✔ Rangatahi aged 18–35 who are registered with Te Nehenehenui
✔ Passionate about kaupapa Māori, leadership, and the future of our tribe
To apply nominees must be:
Aged 35 years or under;
Adult registered members on the Maniapoto membership register;
Able to attend regular online hui (and bi-annual hui ā-tinana).
