Te Nehenehenui appoint new talent

Te Nehenehenui Establishment Chair, Bella Takiari-Brame is pleased to announce the appointment of four talented members to the wider governance group.

Fonteyn Te Kani (Ngāti Maniapoto) and Paula Baker have been appointed as independent trustees of Waihikurangi, the Charitable Arm of Te Nehenehenui.

Fonteyn brings extensive governance experience with her and is passionate about supporting local economic growth through progressive procurement, sustainable finance and financial education.

Paula is committed to best practice governance to enhance organisational performance. Her diverse community reach and social services expertise will be invaluable as Te Nehenehenui navigate through a critical phase of setting out a future direction.

Fiona Carrick and Michael Crawford have also been appointed to the Group Investment Committee as independent members.

Eager to contribute to the growth and success of our iwi, Fiona brings a breadth of knowledge in community governance and a strong background across a range of community boards.

Working alongside a number of iwi throughout his career, Michael is an investment specialist and focussed on achieving good business outcomes whilst caring for our taiao and community.
