The wellbeing of our whānau is at the forefront of our mahi, this extends to ensure our people are equipped to provide first aid.
Our team have travelled across the motu in collaboration with Hato Hone to deliver 15 Medical and Psychological First Aid courses, empowering over 300 of our whānau members with the tools and confidence to recognise and treat everything from common injuries to life-threatening medical emergencies. But most importantly to respond quickly to the needs of the community.
We travelled across the North Island and down South to meet Maniapoto uri, and Māori organisations that support our uri within other rohe. Whānau from across 38 Maniapoto marae attended, 6 Maniapoto education providers, and 13 Maniapoto business, land trusts and health organisations.
