Our priority is the health and well-being of our Iwi members, therefore, the Kaumātua Kaunihera hui scheduled to be held this Wednesday (01 Feb 2023), has been postponed to next week Wednesday 8th February 2023.
As you may be aware, a state of Emergency was declared yesterday for the Waitomo District and will be in place for the next seven (7) days. We urge whānau to stay home if possible, a number of roads across the rohe have been affected with flooding or slips.
If you are in the rohe, Te Kūiti Pā has opened their doors if you or your whānau need a place to sleep.
