Papakāinga wānanga!

Te Nehenehenui in partnership with Ngāti Maniapoto Marae PACT Trust is excited to announce a series of Papakāinga wānanga taking place in October 2025, November 2025 and February 2026. These wānanga are designed to support whānau to plan, develop and thrive on their whenua. These series of wānanga are structured around three key pou:

• Wānanga 1 – Whānau – Planning and aspirations
• Wānanga 2 – Whenua – Understanding land and processes
• Wānanga 3 – Whare – Building and development

The three wānanga will be held on the following dates:

• Wānanga 1 – Wednesday 22nd October, Te Kūtii
• Wānanga 2 – Wednesday 19th November, Te Kūtii
• Wānanga 3 – February 2026, Location TBC

Each wānanga will grow on learnings from the previous session, for this reason attendance at all three wānanga is essential to gain a full understanding of the Papakāinga journey. Register HERE today to secure your spot!
