Tūranga Mahi | Position Overview

The Personal Assistant (PA) to the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) is responsible for providing a high level of professional administrative and personal support to the GCFO.

The support provided includes taking the initiative to coordinate the activities of the GCFO and corporate functions to ensure effective and efficient business operations across the TNN offices.  This role is also responsible to provide project administration support to the project development team of the Te Kirikiri housing development.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and fixed term to provide maternity cover from February 2026 to August 2026. This role can be based at either our head office in Te Kūiti, or from our remote office in Hamilton.

Ngā Pūkenga | Skill/Role Requirements

  • Personal assistance – admin support to the GCFO, including diary management, planning meetings, travel, venues, catering as needed
  • Administration support – day-to-day office support including managing mail, reception, online orders, stationery, asset register, and fleet vehicles
  • Project administration support – provide support for the Te Kirirkiri housing development project team, including minute-taking, filing, data entry, communications, venue management, diary management, and event management support
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint
  • Current Full Driver’s Licence
  • Relevant qualification and/or equivalent work experience in business management is preferred but not essential
  • Experience working in iwi/Māori organisations is preferred
  • Effective communicator – clear, concise and able to articulate communications quickly, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions under pressure
  • Flexibility to manage competing priorities and manage workflow efficiently
