We’re excited to announce the launch of Kākaho our new tribal platform!
At previous Hui ā-iwi and Hui ā-Tau held last month we provided updates on the platform’s progress. Our dedicated team have been working vigilantly to develop the platform, taking us a step closer to connecting with whānau near and far!
Our new tribal platform Kākaho will launch Monday October 14, 2024.
From Friday 11 October 2024, the Maniapoto Membership Register (the current tribal database) will be closed and registrations received before the closure will be transferred across to the new system. During this time whānau will not be able to register online.
On Monday 14 October 2024, Kākaho will be live on our website and registrations will open for whānau to register!
Te Nehenehenui is required in the Trust Deed to maintain a register. All affiliates are encouraged to register on the Maniapoto membership register.
By doing so, you have the right to stand as a Trustee, cast a vote in the Elections, cast votes in Iwi special resolutions, be eligible to apply for annual Grants or Scholarships and participate in Te Nehenehenui activities.
For more information, refer to Trust Deed – Link here.
