Te Nehenehenui give Public and Private Notice of the following Hui ā-Marae (Marae meeting) dates, for the purpose of appointing Te Rōpū Whakahaere members to their affiliated Whare o Te Nehenehenui.

🔹 Te Ahoroa Marae: 2nd April 2023 at Ahoroa Marae

🔹 Napinapi Marae: 2nd April 2023 at Napinapi Marae

🔹 Te Kōpua Marae: 2nd April 2023 at Te Kōpua Marae

🔹 Te Kotahitanga Marae: 2nd April 2023 at Te Kotahitanga Marae

🔹 Pōhatuiri Marae: 2nd April 2023 at Pōhatuiri Marae

🔹 Pūrekireki Marae: 16th April at Pūrekireki Marae

🔹 Te Korapa Tū Pā: 22nd April at Te Korapa Tū Pā

🔹 Mōkau Kohunui Marae: 23rd April at Mōkau Kohunui Marae

🔹 Taarewaanga Marae: 30th April at Taarewaanga Marae

Te Nehenehenui also give Public and Private Notice of the following:

(a) The term of the current Te Rōpū Whakahaere members, previously known as Regional Management Committee members will end by the 31st of May 2023, or upon election of new members.

(b) All Adult Registered Members that affiliate to that Marae are entitled to nominate two candidates for appointment as Te Rōpū Whakahaere members.

(c) All Adult Registered Members of Te Nehenehenui that are affiliated to any of these marae are eligible to vote.

(d) A person is unable to be a nominated member of Te Rōpū Whakahaere for more than one marae.

Continuation of Establishment Whare (Regional Management Committee) members

Until the election or appointment of the new Rōpū Whakahaere Members, the current Rōpū Whakahaere Members of each Whare shall continue to represent the relevant Whare and related Marae.
