The wellbeing of our people is at the forefront of our mahi, and Te Nehenehenui recognises First Aid Certification as a vital life skill to help meet the needs of the community around our whānau.
As part of the Maniapoto Emergency Resilience Project, we invite whānau registered on the Maniapoto Membership Register (aged 14 years or older) to register for this FREE one-day course, that will develop CPR knowledge and response to common medical emergencies.
This opportunity is available to those that don’t currently hold a first aid certification and designed to equip our whānau with essential first aid skills.
Up to 20 people are eligible for this opportunity at each location.

Please note:
- Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before the course start time, attendees who arrive late may be refused entry.
- Morning tea and lunch is provided. If you have dietary restrictions, you will need to bring your own kai

- This course is hands on and involves several practical components. If you’re dealing with injuries or medical conditions that might impact your participation, please let us know.
- For those seeking to have their credits uploaded to the NZQA database, remember to bring a valid photo ID on the day of the course i.e. drivers licence, 18+card, or passport.
NZQA 6402 and 6401 - The course is available to first time certification, refresher course not provided at this stage.
