Reliever Positions
Te Pukeiti Early Childhood Centre (TPECC) is a licensed 50 place early learning centre based in Te Kuiti and operated by Te Nehenehenui. We have Full time Kaiako positions available, Monday – Friday. We also would like to have a number of qualified and unqualified Relievers on our books who we could call on in times of staff shortages, so if you are interested in relief work, please apply indicating this in your cover letter.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, these positions will be responsible for meeting the expectations and delivery of Te Whariki and positively contributing to our team, Te Pukeiti whanau and tamariki at all times. You will be responsible for planning, assessing, and evaluating Te Pukeiti activities and reporting requirements ensuring they meet audit, regulatory and contractual requirements.
To be successful in any of these roles, we would prefer you to have previous experience within an Early Childhood Learning Centre; a NZ recognised Early Childhood Qualification (Minimum ECE qualification diploma or teaching ECE) and have a full or provisional teacher registration. If you are currently studying or are willing to undergo study, we would love to hear from you also.
A current full New Zealand drivers’ licence is required, as is a current first aid certificate and police clearance.
