In the wake of the recent cyclones and adverse weather events, we recognise how our community steps up, ready to support those in need and the response efforts in emergency situations.

In partnership with Ruapehu District Council, Waikato Regional Civil Defence, and Fire and Emergency New Zealand, we are offering two 🔺 FREE CIMS training courses 🔺 to iwi and community members. This is your opportunity to learn the tools and become empowered to handle emergency situations.

🔹 Taumarunui –  Saturday 8 March 2025

Council Chambers – 59 Huia Street, Taumarunui

🔹 Te Kūiti – Saturday 15 March 2025

Gallagher Recreation Centre – 1a Eketone Street, Te Kūiti

This practical one-day course (kai provided) is for those people who wish to gain an understanding of the New Zealand Co-ordinated Incident Management System structure (CIMS) and leads into the CIMS Level 4 training.
