2026 Trustee Elections Confirmation of Candidates

Te Nehenehenui is pleased to announce the following candidates have been confirmed for the upcoming elections of the Ngā Kura Rere Trustees and the Ngā Kura Tau Trustee position for Te Whare Hau-ā-Uru ki Uta by-election.

Nominations for the 2026 election of Ngā Kura Rere Trustees for Te Nehenehenui closed at 12pm, Thursday 2 July 2026. The following valid nominations were received.

Voting processes will therefore be required to determine the trustees for the above positions and will be carried out by postal and online voting. Voter packs, together with information about the candidates, will be sent to all registered and verified adult members from Wednesday 29 July and voting will close at 12 noon, Monday 7 September 2026.

Te Wā: 10am – 3pm (doors open from 9.30am)
Te Rā: Saturday 15 August 2026
Kei: Ōtorohanga College Hall, 2-8 Bledisloe Avenue, Ōtorohanga
