Ki ngā whare, ki ngā marae, kia ora katoa! 🌿

Te Nehenehenui have received an application for Te Awhitu Whānau Maria Marae (located at 6053 State Highway 4, RD 6, Taumarunui, within Te Whare ki Tuhua Hikurangi) to be added as a registered marae to Te Nehenehenui.

Te Rōpū Kaumātua have confirmed their support of this petition.

The next steps are for Tribal Members to sign the petition.

The marae need at least 350 adult registered members to sign the petition in order for the marae to join, as outlined in the Trust Deed (Eighth schedule).

Voting closes: August 16 2024.
